Etruria, northern Italy, Ca 4th century BCE. Another extremely rare example! Beaked terracotta oinochoe decorated with applied white pigment, single owl facing forward; nicely detailed feathers, beak and eyes, double ground line, with palmettes and meander in field. 6-3/8"H.
