Byzantine Empire, Ca 4th to 7th century CE. One of the finest of the type that we have seen! Rectangular bread stamp impressed in both Latin and Cyrillic characters, large ring-shaped handle, also inscribed with three letters. 3" x 1-1/4" with a modern rubber base for display.
