Thirty one photographic cards (mainly cabinet photos) inserted in sixteen leaves (one appears to be missing).
Contemporary full brown calf over padded boards. Front board double-ruled in gilt, with gilt central text as described above, lower board elaborately stamped in blind with small metal (pewter?) grommets in corners, original metal clasp. Light rubbing to binding, a few mounts with short tears, a few photos foxed. Still, an unusually bright and fine item, with excellent portraits.
