The handle of the pot is covered with cane and therefor creates a special contrast between traditional materials and modern austere forms. The name ‘Bandung’ refers to the Indonesian city of the same name, which is known for its Art Deco architecture. The pot can be positioned horizontally standing on the handle and the wide foot plate, an integrated filter serves as a tea strainer. When raising the pot, the water flows back into the boiler.
