Description

When it comes to obsoletes, this note pretty much has it all. ÃŠIt is unique for the denomination and likely only one of a few authentic survivors for the entire bank. ÃŠThis bank would later become The National Eagle Bank of Boston. ÃŠIn fact, the cashier on this note later became president of the national bank and his signature can be found on first charter notes. ÃŠWe should also mention that this note has a great vignette of an eagle perched on merchandise. ÃŠThe touch of color in the red protector only helps the appeal.
