A parody on the Nazi regime and its supporters in the style of the Megilla of Esther. The scroll depicts the development of WWII and the Holocaust, with the names of the heads of the Nazi government and those who collaborated with them. Hitler is in place of Ahashverosh, Himmler in place of Haman, etc. The author, who was a Hebrew teacher in Casablanca, wrote the scroll from the viewpoint of a Jew in North Africa, with an interesting preface, and added an original version of the blessing on reading the scroll.
The beginning of the scroll is damaged and in the first column text is missing. The rest of the scroll is in fine condition. Moth marks on the bottom in the white margins. Scrolls of this type almost never survived. Rare.
