Moshe Ottolenghi was a famed Italian poet who authored tens of poems and 'riddles' in honor of festive events and for brides and grooms. This "Chida Kefula" is his first print – at an unknown press. Printed in his youth in [1876]. He later printed tens of poems and riddles. In his introduction, he recounts another riddle that he wrote two years earlier, and the prize winner was Elisha Zamato. That riddle is unknown today; it possibly was handwritten and distributed amongst the community members. Very rare.
Creases and light marginal tears without loss of text. Moderate condition.
