Opens with poems in Hebrew, Latin and Spanish. Includes poems by Rabbi Yitzchak Abuhav, Rabbi of the Sephardic community, the first American Rabbi in the Dutch-Spanish colonies in South America. Many letters in Portuguese – quasi-approbations praising the work. The edition is dedicated to Yitzchak Shneur Taksiera, one of the wealthiest Jews at the times, the Queen of Sweden's business manager.
Original leather binding with geometric designs and gold embossed title, location and year of print, signs of clasps. Restored backstrip, cracked. Minimal worming holes in the three leaves of indexes at the conclusion. Aging stains. Fine-very fine condition.
