Mr. Rust was commissioned to create a series of original, limited edition oil paintings depicting famous clown Emmett Kelly. The edition included 250 hand-painted examples of each image completed entirely by the artist. Mr. Rust is one of few artists to have been granted the official rights to paint iconic clown, Emmet Kelly. Mr. Rust's art can be found in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, the Ringling Museum of the Circus, and the Norman Rockwell Museum in Philadelphia.
