Description

RARE PAIR OF MINTON MAJOLICA TURQUOISE GLAZED PEDESTALSEach of triangular form with ram’s heads at each corner hung with garlands, the three-sided concave bodies on hoofed feet, impressed with varied marks for Minton.

Height 38 in., Width 18 in.
Height 96.5 cm, Width 45.7 cm

Condition

Overall in good condition. There is a leaf chip to one of the green leaf scrolls to the left of a ram’s foot, on both pedestals. Possible old and extensive restoration to the top of one pedestal, same pedestal also with vertical crack line running from the bottom apr 14 inch long, ( slightly to the side )areas of the top. There is a new small chip just under to top ( eggplant color ) The second pedestal have a very fine horizontal hairline crack on the upper section of the side panel ( on blue colored glaze section ) apr . 8 inch long.
