This set includes five charming British berry spoons. The spoons were made in London c. 1799-1807. Each features later alterations of high relief berry and flora motifs pressed into the bowls with gilt. Each spoon handle has been fashioned with decorative motifs.
The spoons are in good condition with minor traces of age and wear visible. One spoon features hallmarks for Thomas Wilkes Barker, London, England, 1806-7. Two spoons have hallmarks for Duncan Urquhart & Naphtali Hart, London, England, 1806-7. One spoon has hallmarks for Charles Wright, London, England, 1799-1800. One spoon has illegible makers marks with London, England, 1799-1800 place and date marks. The approximate length of each spoon is 8.75". The total weight of the spoons is 9.2 ozt.
