This miniature box clock with feet is a Cartier design. It features a stylish malecite green painted face with gold toned arms and Roman numeral time markers. The clock has a striated bronze case. The back of the clock has a swinging door with a knob and a circular pattern. This door opens to reveal the wind-up cranks for the clock's movement.
The clock is in good functional condition with traces of age and wear. An overhall is recommended at the buyer's expense. The surface has scratches and discoloration. The lower right corner of the face has a chip in the paint. The face is marked, 'Cartier' and 'LUXOR 8'. The case and interior are marked, 'SWISS', 'LUXOR S A SWISS 1351', '81797 2-75KL', 'L9632', and 'ALARM'. The clock is 2.5" x 2.25" x 1.25" (height x width x depth).
Cartier (1847 - Present)
