Pre-Columbian, Northern Peru, Moche, ca 400 - 500 CE. Truly monumental in its importance! Terracotta vessel of a male figure, face depicts a lord with portrait-like face seated in a somber trance, holding ceremonial kero and implement perhaps for preparation of hallucinogenic substance used during ritualistic ceremonies.
