Description
Pre-Columbian, North Coast of Peru, Moche, Phase III, ca. 350 to 550 CE. A hand-built pottery vessel depicting a human figure seated on the ground with one arm held to the side of the head. Almond-shaped eyes, full lips, and a crested nose create the overall countenance while a large handle and tall spout project out from the verso. Size: 6.4" L x 5.5" W x 7.6" H (16.3 cm x 14 cm x 19.3 cm)
