BOAT MODEL - Detailed Wood Model with finished interior of Coastal Steamer 'Aucocisco', a Casco Bay ferry out of South Portland, Maine, built at the Dyer yard in 'Ferry Village', maiden voyage June 21, 1897. 'Aucocisco' is the Abenaki Indian name for Casco Bay, translating as 'Place of Herons'. The 'Aucocisco III' is in use to this day. The model is circa 1950s.
