Lot of 13 Theodore Haviland Rosalinde Pattern Flat Cup and Saucer Sets c. 1940s. All are in like new condition and appear to of never been used. Delicate pink and purple flowers with cream rim and gold accents. Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful patterns ever produced by Haviland. Manufactured from 1942-1993 and then discontinued. Current replacement value is 35.99 each set. Theodore Haviland began in New York with David Haviland. When he discovered great porcelain resources in Limoges, France, he moved there and opened his own manufacturing company. His son, Theodore,continued the family business. In the 1930's, David's grandson, William began successfully manufacturing dinnerware in New York. Provenance: Mt. Pleasant SC Estate
