ENGLISH POTTERY LIMITED EDITION PAUL CARDEW TEAPOTS, LOT OF TWO, comprising two large examples, each formed as a display stall of teapots. "Teapots through the Ages" displays some of the most important and typical examples of British pottery in miniature form, including a "Blue Willow", Whieldon-type cabbage-form, Staffordshire cottage, Clarice Cliff, majolica bamboo-form, so-called "Brown Betty," etc. The second example includes shelving surfaces covered with some of the most notable of Cardew's own teapots, again, in miniature form, with a flattened shipping box to the cover. Each with gilt facsimile signature marks, and numbered, the first 1134/5000, the second 1314/5000. Dated 2000 and 1994. 9" HOA.
