FRENCH CHOISY-LE-ROI POTTERY PALISSY-STYLE MAJOLICA DISH, oval, the deep rim molded in low relief with textured sand, with applied molded shells and eels on the rim edge, the well center with applied fish in high relief, the underside painted in jeweled brown and freckled blue glazes. The underside impressed 3 c. Late 19th century. 15 7/8" W.
