Description
Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Mayan Territories, Mexico, ca. 500 to 850 AD. Terracotta cylinder vessel with upper band of glyphs (comes with a Justin Kerr roll-out, see last image below). The glyphs are deeply carved, the signature glyph is great, with the very detailed face. The image is of the water Lilly monster of Mayan Mythology. 13-1/2" H.
