Description
Pre-Columbian, Classic Maya, ca. 600 to 900 CE. Highly refined ceremonial implement fragment which formed part of the ballgame paraphernalia of the ancient Maya in hardstone, depicting either a Jaguar or a bat head. Size: 8" W x 7" H (20.3 cm x 17.8 cm).
