A Chinese Pair of Doucai Porcelain Tea Bowls, 18th century, translucently thin porcelain round tea bowls with slightly flaring lip on a foot ring decorated in the Ming doucai style to depict four groupings of underglaze blue rocks, with green grasses, iron red flowers and butterflies of yellow, red, and aubergine, in underglaze blue a double band around the rim and a single band around the foot, unmarked bases, on wooden stands, formerly in the collection of Frank Caro successor to C.T. Loo, from a Mount Laurel, New Jersey collector, each bowl approx. 5 by 8 1/2 cm. diam, 1 7/8 by 3 3/8 in. diam.
