For more than 25 years, the Swiss photographer Michel Comte portrayed the most beautiful women and most important artists of the world. In this role he was active for international magazines, such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Interview, Stern and GQ. The present photograph was created in 1998 and carries the title ‘Rizzoli Nudes’.



The Lumas edition certificate with studio stamp will be delivered separately.. This is number 136 from a limited edition of 150 pieces. The photograph is in very good condition. The dimensions are 80 x 100 cm. The total dimensions, including the shadow gap frame, are 84.4 x 104.4 cm.



Michel Comte (b. 1954)

Michel Comte apprentices as a restorer before working at Bruno Bischofsberger Gallery in Zurich. He then started working as a photographer for the fashion designer Hannes B. One of his most famous photographs is a portrait of Carla Bruni. The original photograph was sold for €50,000 at Christie’s in 2008. In addition, he portrayed celebrities such as George Clooney and Sophia Loren. He was commissioned for advertisement campaigns by some of the biggest fashion brands in the world.
