The present Ilkhanid door mounting is made ??of bronze, and dates from the 13th or 14th century. It is characterized by a fine engraved décor, as well as silver and copper damascening. The background shows spiral tendrils. Inscription cartouches run along the edges and on the hump. Between, there are medallions with bird depictions.

The door mounting is in good overall condition, showing some wear due to age. The damascening is partly missing. The diameter is 26.7 cm, and the depth is approximately 8 cm. The weight is circa 1.2 kilograms.
