This fantastically designed Syrian folding chair delights with its finely executed inlays made from mother-of-pearl in the shape of tendrils and blossoms, which cover the whole surface. They are framed by metal fittings and complemented by brass inlays. Mashrabyia-panels and the open construction of the backrest present the chair with an elegant lightness in spite of the opulent decorations.

The chair shows traces of wear and some small imperfections in the inlays, is however in an overall good condition according to its age. The dimensions are 122 x 54 x 70 cm.
