Description
An Egyptian faience scarab with cartouce of Amenhotep III, 18th Dynasty, c. 1400 BC, depicting the god Hapi kneeling before the cartouche. Set in a cardboard holder with written description and illustrations, L: 7/10 in (1.8cm), W: ½ in (1.3cm). Ex property of a Bedfordshire, England private collector and lecturer.
