Description

Through his art, Remington created the timeless image of the American West. This is the human struggle to control nature captured in the aesthetic tension of the medium. The jolting movement of the untamed horse trying to uncork his rider from the saddle becomes classic symbol of the era. Inscribed: Frederic Remington on the base. This excellent cast in rich brown patina falls just short of mint condition by the rider's missing quirt.
