2nd Model. Fairly standard 2nd Model single action .38 Smith & Wesson single action spur trigger revolver with factory nickel finish and sporting a 3 ¼” round barrel. Typical top break with an excellent bore and an action that indexes and locks up like a new gun. The original rubber grips are near mint. The barrel and frame retain at least 98% of the flawless factory nickel finish. The cylinder shows some light corrosion in the flutes and several drag lines. The green box is excellent and intact with no outer labels but has the directions printed inside the lid. This model was mfg from 1877-1891. Serial number 4337.
