Description
Colorful Rookwood Porcelain vase with bleeding heart decoration done in 1922 by E.T. Hurley. The flowers are done in mauve and green on a pumpkin colored ground while a brown-gray drip glaze covers the rim and shoulder. Marks include the company logo, the date, shape number 112 and the artist’s initials in black slip. Also attached is a Rookwood II label from Cincinnati Art Galleries. Height is 7 inches and width is 8 inches. Uncrazed and in excellent original condition.
