He started his career as a music advisor at the BBC Gramophone Library which was based at Radio 1, Egton House, London. He worked with Producers and Presenters and met many Celebrities during this time. He then moved to Sky Digital to produce more music programmes and became the manager of jazz singer, and Radio 2 presenter, Clare Teal. His extensive collection was amassed from 1987 to 2006.
