Decorative citrine brooch in the style of the time

The present brooch dating to around 1910, delights with its large oval cut citrine, which is a real eye-catcher. The stone is set into prong settings in the form of shells and mounted in an 8 karat yellow gold setting with chased tendrils. The reverse boasts a needle with a loop clasp.

The brooch is in good overall condition, showing light wear. Two prong settings are missing. The dimensions of the citrines are approximately 41 x 31 mm, and the brooch is 50 x 43 mm in size. The overall weight is approximately 30.7 grams.
