Numbered "26001" on tune-sheet, playing 10 operatic and dance airs including "Le Petit Duc, Leçon de Chant" by Lecocq, "La Mascotte Valse" by Audran and "Carmen, Chanson du Toréador" by Bizet, with 42 musical teeth in two combs (complete), 15-key organ, optional drum, castanet and 6 saucer bells with wasp strikers, "pendulum" safety-check on great wheel, compensated governor and rosewood-veneered case with ormolu handles, tulipwood banding and inlay of musical trophies on front and lid, width 27 in. (69 cm), cylinder 14 in. (36 cm). Restored by Michel Bourgoz, l'Auberson, Switzerland. – An impressive orchestral musical box in superb playing condition!
