We are pleased to present this great lot of black & deep Amethyst serving pieces. Three bowls are by LE Smith in their Mt. Pleasant pattern. The other pieces are unusual, likely from the 1980s. The light only shines through the covered 8 x 8 x 6 inch tall casserole bowl which is very dark amethyst. Light does not shine through these pieces: the covered dish - measures 4.5 x 4.5 x 6, the open-handled dish measures 7 x 5.5 x 2.5, the open-handled bowl measures 6.5 x 6 x 2.75. and the footed bowl measures 8.25 x 8.25 x 3.5. The total weight is 8# 2 oz. and the condition is excellent.
