We are thrilled to offer this conversation-stopping(!) lot of four Coaster sets, Vintage and Modern Vintage with a rare 1930 New York Worlds Fair Set, a set with pressed Butterflies, Black Lacquer with gorgeous decoration and Pink French Poodles! First, the Rare set of FOUR 1939 NYWF Glass Coasters. These coasters are imprinted in the glass with New York World Fair 1939 Corning Glass Works Replica 200 Inch Pyrex Telescope Disc. Very scarce to find a single coaster - the set of four is a SCORE!! There are a set of four round Pink French Poodle Coasters that are Modern Vintage. We believe the maker of these whimsical ceramic/pottery coasters is Brookstone but they are unsigned. There is a beautiful set of Black Lacquer Coasters with Jewel Colored decorations of Japanese Pagoda and Garden Scenes. These lightweight glossy coasters are circa 1950s and they all have different decorations, very beautiful! Finally, the last set is made in Japan, circa 1960s, featuring real Butterflies and colorful Moth, pressed in Glass. These coasters are an open railing type sturdy wood design with textured glass holding the Butterflies. Circa 1960s. All four sets are highly collectible, offered at no reserve.
