This lot comprises six bottles of 1981 vintage Château Figeac from the Saint-Émilion appellation in Bordeaux.
Saint Émilion is next to Pomerol one of the best-known appellations on the right river bank of the Gironde. Merlot is the predominant grape variety here. As in Graves, Saint Émilion has its own classification for the wines produced there, updated approximately every ten years; the last time being in 2012.
