The History of Mother Twaddle is the first edition of what is generally considered to be the earliest separate printing of the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk', narrated in verse.

Binding rubbed, lacking free endpapers, 1807 gift inscription on recto of frontispiece, some chipping to page edges without loss of text or illustration; very good.
