A natural amber bead necklace, designed as thirty-eight graduated amber beads measuring 8 to 28mm. Length 72cms. Weight 68.8gms.

We believe the amber to be old material. Overall fair to good condition, one of the beads next to the largest bead has a crack in it that is surface reaching and covers nearly half of the bead. One of the smaller beads has a large chip to it. A medium sized orange colour bead has two surface cracks to it. Two further smaller beads have a small surface crack to them. The largest bead has a small surface crack to it. The widths of the beads measure 4 to 19mm. The colour of the beads is a dark yellow to a burnt orange. Some show natural inclusions and surface blemishes. Most of the beads are opaque.
