A selection of four items of jewellery, to include three items of late 19th century garnet and red paste jewellery, together with a pair of imitation pearl knot ear studs. Length of brooches 2.5 and 2.4cms. Diameter of ear studs 2 to 1.7cms.

Condition

Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Some discolouration and green staining. Garnet/red paste items converted from other items of jewellery. Evidence of repair/alteration to the brooches, soft solder to the ear studs. Replacement pins. Evidence of repair to the imitation pearl ear studs, glue to the base, the knots are slightly uneven in shape. Gemstones and imitation pearls in fair condition with some abrasion and nicks. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. One pair of ear studs with screw-back fittings for non-pierced ears. The other with fixed posts for pierced ears, butterfly backs deficient.
