W.", above a celadon velvet ground.NOTE: The Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co. was established in 1880 by William Gibson and John Langman, adding "Ltd" to the name in 1898. The company expanded over the years and bought a number of other companies, broadening their range of items and services to silversmiths, electroplaters, jewelry, diamonds and precious stones, including watch and clock makers.
