A GROUP OF FOUR JAPANESE CERAMIC WARES, 20TH CENTURY, comprising a speckled brown glazed standing figure of Prince Shotoku, modeled in a standing position wearing traditional attire, over an underside with a square form four character mark and a shaped oval character mark signature, height: 10 1/2"; a diminutive Satsuma parcel gilt and polychrome enameled bud vase with sides depicting a long tailed pheasant amidst a garden of blossoming foliage beneath the branches of an autumnal shade tree, over an underside with gilt character on red rectangle mark, height: 5"; a small Satsuma style saucer in traditional colors and parcel gilt highlights centering shaped reserves depicting children in a waterside garden setting with blossoming cherry trees above another with matrons and a youth before a waterside pavilion continuing cherry trees decoration, reversing to an underside enclosing overglaze red three character marks, diameter: 4"; an Arita underglaze blue and green serving dish, of shallow circular form and centering a duck swimming amongst marsh foliage, diameter: 9 1/2".
