85 wood-engravings pulled by Craig from the original blocks, printed in black or other colours (red, brown, ochre etc.), on a variety of papers (mostly japan), many in different states, a few signed and dated by Craig in pencil, most with state and number in pencil at foot, 2 loosely inserted, the rest tipped to large blank leaves, becoming unbound, loose in card folder with ties, EGC's bookplate dated 1901 on inside wrapper, pencil notes on upper cover, frayed and spotted, spine reinforced from inside, [1920s & 0s]; with a trial proof of the text printed in red and black with 2 wood-engravings by Craig, signed "EGC" in pencil in lower left corner and "rare proof of 4th trial" in right, a little foxed, c.350 x 270mm., [Weimar], [1930s] (2) Craig's personal copy of his illustrations for 'Robinson Crusoe', with the various states mounted together on one or facing pages to see the artist's creative process and the development of the illustrations.
