An excellent copy of James Guthrie's masterpiece, using an extraordinary variety of printing media . The prospectus stated that 55 copies would be produced; in reality the figure may be rather less and, due to the unusual printing method where each plate is coloured and printed individually, each copy is unique. Colin Franklin regards the work "as among the three or four monumental achievements of private presses in the twentieth century; and by its originality in concept and content, the highest."
