The famous Massachusetts North Church minister's complete writings on comets, comprising a treatise on the origin & nature of comets and a chronology of their reputed apparitions since Creation alongside the catastrophes they supposedly precipitated; the two sermons present ( Heavens Alarm to the World and The Latter Sign ) warn that the Great Comet of 1680 and the return of Halley's Comet in 1682 are indicative of divine displeasure. Rare complete in the three parts.
