The pendant designed as an oval star sapphire cabochon, within a circular-shape sapphire surround, suspended from a 9ct gold curb-link chain, with matching ring and ear studs. Four stones deficient. Chain with hallmarks for Sheffield, 1983. Length of pendant 1.9cms. Length of chain 41cms. Total weight 7.8gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and scratches in keeping with general wear. Four sapphires deficient to one ear stud. Ring with significant scratches and discolouration to the inner band. Evidence of resizing. Band slightly off round. Chain elements very slightly in hue. Star sapphire in the pendant has a more defined star than the others. Star sapphires pale blue, noticeable inclusions and colour banding that affect the passage of light through the stones. Outer sapphires vary slightly in hue, blue with fair to dark colour saturation. Typical inclusions that somewhat affect the passage of light through the stones.
