Description
A late 19th century 9ct gold hardstone fob two-row bracelet. The circular-shape bloodstone and carnelian panel swivel fob, with foliate engraved surmount, suspended from a graduated curb-link two-row chain. Fob with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1898. Length of fob 3cms. Length of bracelet 19.5cms. Total weight 29.9gms.
Condition
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and bruises in keeping with general age and wear. Bracelet has been converted from an Albert chain. Some links worn more than others. The hardstone panels have surface scratches and chips to the edges. The fob has significant wear to the hardstone collet. The hollow surmount is bruised in areas. Chain stamped 9 375.
