Description

Couple Running is the title of this contemporary giclee (pronounced Jih-clay) print by artist Brian Kershisnik. It is softly romantic. energetically modern, and just plain fun. The print is signed by the artist, dated '00 (2000), titled and numbered 66/100 in the lower margin. It is archivally matted and framed with conservation clear glass to help prevent fading. In checking the artist's web site, I see that the original price was $500 unframed, and the edition is sold out. The print size is 30"x24". and the original black wooden frame is 34"x28". The print appears to be in excellent condition. The frame is presentable but has some dings and rough spots. This is the first giclee (digital) print I have not rejected from my inventory. Usually I am not drawn to them, preferring the traditional hand-made processes. However, the new medium has come a long way since its introduction a few decades ago, and many artists are embracing it. SO... maybe I'll give them a chance. In the case of this one, you should, too.
