Unusual Group of New Orleans Masonic Items, early 20th c., consisting of a sterling presentation trowel, January 31st, 1926, with an ivory handle, for the laying of the cornerstone of the Masonic Temple in 1926, presented to Grand Master Haney B. Connor; a sterling presentation trowel for the same event, dated 1925; a miniature presentation trowel from the Natchez chapter of the Masons, 1918; a centennial bronze medallion from 1912; two pictorial convention badges from 1927; and a group of twenty candid photographs of the laying of the cornerstone on St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, showing the Grand Master holding the ivory handled trowel, in a period silk lined presentation box, Trowel- H.- 2 1/2 in., W.- 12 1/4 in., D.- 4 1/8 in.
