Willie Daniels (American, b. 1950) Oil Painting on Masonite. The painting is depicting a sunset over a swamp with birds, bushes and trees surrounding it. Measures - 23" high x 35" wide + 2" frame. Signed lower right. Willie Daniels began painting in the mid-1960s. Al Black sold many of his paintings and some paintings with Al Black’s signature were actually done by Daniels. He was the youngest of the group of early Highwaymen. Willie’s younger brother, Johnny (“Hook”) Daniels, paints religious scenes and wildlife, as well as landscapes. The Daniels brothers live in Fort Pierce, Florida, where they have their own art gallery.
