6th-7th century AD. A Slavic flat-section openwork plate brooch with trapezoidal body and lozengiform foot, geometric panels, derived form of the 'Dnieper class' brooches; cruciform panel to the foot with pierced extensions; catchplate and ferrous stain from the pin to the reverse.
