CIVIL WAR SOLDIER AND SAILOR, pair of 1/9 plate ambrotypes. Both are in patriotic mats, in a fine double case “Night with Children” (Berg 1 –142), with the theme on both sides. The soldier ambrotype is on ruby glass. These seem original to the case, and possibly are brothers. Everything excellent.
