The motor on the red car was not tested, unclear if it is in working order. These pieces have overall a medium amount of age appropriate wear and medium amount of grime build up. All cars have some light fading/age discoloration to the pigment. All cars have a light amount of pen tip size - 1" scratches scattering the body with pigment loss. The red car has some stable age crackle to the paint, it as possibly been revarnished to stabilize the crackle. The red car has some light rust to the motor below and oil residue, there is some light rust on some of the aluminum outer parts. The wheels on this car have some light cracking, one has more significant cracking and come grazed surface chips on the wheel. The green cars have some light rust to the naked aluminum parts below like the wheels, etc. There is some light denting to the top corner of the observation train. The writing on the green cars is mostly faded and very light.
